South Lebanon Township is seeking qualified and proven applicants for the position of Assistant Township Manager.
Successful candidates must have an understanding of the duties of a chief financial officer of a governmental entity which include accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, monitoring investments, validate all invoices, prepare annual township budgets, monthly financial reports and procure all Township insurance policies.
The position requires the ability to administer the employee benefits and insurance program, purchasing of supplies/equipment, bid document preparation and oversee the daily operation of the Township office.
Applicants must have a degree in accounting or business adminisitration, 5 years of experience in an accounting/financial field, and an intermediate level of competency with MS Excel and word. Knowledge of Sage Peachtree Accounting desired.
